Course Details

  • This course is over a weekend (Saturday-Sunday) with the option to add on an additional day to explore the city.

  • This allows the classes to be interactive, whilst ensuring the teacher is able to support each individual.

Course Schedule

Day 1 - Business English

  • Description text goes here
  • ✔ Applied business skills, including meetings and accounting/finance.

    ✔ Meetings - interactive sessions where you will work in groups on a meeting, follow a case study, develop skills and learn key language to be used in business meetings.

  • ✔ Work in small groups on a task - develop speaking/listening skills and learn key language to be used during professional calls.

Day 2 - Business English

  • ✔ Enjoy a delicious breakfast before a day of presentations and feedback.

  • ✔ Applied Business Skills - problem solving, giving recommendations, language for presenting, business correspondence and finance.

    ✔ Your task for the assessment will be set.

  • ✔ You will be given time to prepare, followed by an assessed meeting and the opportunity to present your case study to a panel.

    ✔ You will be given feedback on your presentation and speaking skills, along with feedback on your use of grammar and language.

    ✔ You will then be guided through developing your individual development plan, for your future learning.

Optional extra day - Tour of the City

We will explore as much as we can of the city. Bring some comfortable walking shoes and be ready for a packed day of taking in Liverpool’s history, culture, sports and music scene.

  • Get to know the city by land and sea with a walking tour, River Mersey Sightseeing cruise and a bus tour.

  • Fish & chip dinner at the famous Docklands Fish & Chips.

  • Walk along the Docklands and Pier.

  • Explore history through the Museum of Liverpool, the Maritime and International Slavery Museums.
