Harry Potter and Good Food!

Dave and his young daughter Imogen are both born and bred in Liverpool. Both are very passionate about the love for their home. Here’s what they had to share:

What do you like about Liverpool?

Imogen: That Liverpool FC are really good and nearly won the Premiership
Dave: I just love the fact its home

Where is your favourite restaurant?

Imogen: Pizza Express and LEAF (Editor’s note - LEAF is a famous independent tea shop and cafe which has three venues in the city)
Dave: Restaurant Bar and Grill - classic seasonal cooking with amazing steaks

Is there any traditional food or drink from Liverpool?

Imogen: Nana’s pasta bake!
Dave: ‘Scouse’ - a type of stew associated with Liverpool. It contains beef, potatoes, carrots and onion.

Any other interesting facts?

Imogen: There is an Egyptian museum in Liverpool and it has mummies in it.
Dave: It’s been used as a location for a lot of films. Robert Pattinson was recently up on the famous Liver Building playing Batman, and the tunnels to the Wirral are also used in a lot of films. These include Harry Potter in the scene when Harry is with Hagrid, being chased by death eaters in Deathly Hallows Part 1.
