Discover London

Optional extra day - Tour of the City

We will explore as much as we can of the city. London is enormous and has so much to do, we won't attempt to show you the whole city in just one day… BUT, we will attempt to cover as much as we possibly can! Bring some comfortable walking shoes and be ready for a packed day of taking in London.

  • We’ll start with a tour of the historic Westminster Abbey.

  • Some time spent sightseeing, we’ll even stop by the famous red phone box for a photo opportunity!

  • Walk down the famous Mall to Buckingham Palace, to watch the Changing of the Guard.

  • The art gallery opened almost 200 years ago, it now has over 2,000 paintings (some of which are over 700 years old) and stands as one of the most popular art galleries in the world.

Rest afterwards with a picnic in St James’ Park, overlooking the famous buildings of Horse Guards Parade.

  • Learn about Britain’s war history.

  • On to the London Eye to see London from the sky, with stunning 360 degree views of the city. Let’s hope for good weather!

  • Stop to see your favourite art.

  • Meander down the Thames to London’s SkyGarden. Here you can take in incredible views from the 35th floor of this iconic building.

  • Walk down to see St Pauls’ Cathedral and the Tower of London, before jumping on the Thames Clipper boat to take in the last sights of London by river!
