Beautiful Woodland Walks

The Gardens are hugely popular and have won a number of awards over the years, including Countryfile’s Garden of the Year. They have also frequently been awarded the Gold Accolade by Visit England.
A mile-long lake, home to a range of wildlife species, sits at the heart of the Gardens, creating stunning views and attracting vast numbers of wildlife photographers each year.
At 725 acres in size, the estate and gardens boast a large number of options for beautiful walking routes. The famous Woodlands have been a part of the landscape for over a thousand years, and many enjoy taking a route around the lake which is said to be the home of fairies. Sculptures of the fairies, and other interesting wood carvings, can be found along many of the trails.
With such pretty surroundings, Trentham Gardens is the perfect place for us to spend the final afternoon of our Staffordshire course, when we will enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea before saying goodbye.
