A Hotspot for Wildlife
Any walk up Conwy Mountain is sure to include an encounter with some of the local wildlife. As well as the wild ponies, vast numbers of sheep roam the hills, and you may also be lucky enough to see some unusual birds. Bird sightings from the mountain have included choughs, ravens and peregrine falcons, as well as many more.
If that is not enough for wildlife enthusiasts, then the RSPB reserve across the water allows further opportunity to see more species, including kingfishers, otters and rare butterflies.
