A Hub for Heritage
The hotel has continued to enjoy an excellent reputation for its hospitality and the current owners are committed to celebrating its history and heritage.
Its food is still held in the high esteem that it was when the likes of Queen Victoria came to visit. Most of the ingredients featured in its menus are sourced locally, and its range of Afternoon Teas remain popular.
Art heritage is also celebrated. During the 1800’s, famous British artist John Dawson Watson produced a number of paintings for the hotel whilst living in Conwy. These paintings were recently re-framed and displayed all around the building so that modern day visitors can continue to enjoy them.
Finally, the hotel delights in providing its guests with comfortable and memorable overnight stays within its elegant rooms. Those taking part in our Conwy course will get to stay in the Castle Hotel and join the likes of Queen Victoria and George Stephenson in its long list of guests.
