Anyone for Cake?

Cakes and baked goods are popular the world over, and Wales is no exception! There are plenty of new cakes to try. Some examples of these are below:

‘Welsh cakes’ - raisins and cake, what better combination! Welsh cakes are tasty, round, flat cakes, topped with butter and enjoyed with an afternoon cup of tea.

‘Bara brith’ - a traditional Welsh fruit loaf, the translation in to English is ‘speckled loaf’. Bara Brith is delicious with a dash of cinnamon and topped with butter.
